Reverse All Facets of a Selected Object
- Select the object for
which you want to reverse normals on individual facets.
- On the Utilities tab, click the Orient Normals
button
.

The Orient Normals Tool Properties
panel.
Options for the tool include Reverse Normals,
Unify Normals, and Select All Facets.
- Click the Reverse
Normals button
on the Tool Properties panel.
Note: Regardless which selection mode you're
in, when you click the Reverse Normals button Hexagon automatically
switches you to select faces mode.
- Click the Select All button
on the Tool Properties panel. All facets are selected and a normals
direction arrow indicates which direction each facet is currently facing.

After
pressing the spacebar, the arrows change to yellow and point inward,
toward the sphere, indicating that the facets are backfacing. |
- Press the Spacebar. The normals are
reversed for all facets.
- Press Enter
or click Validate to accept the changes and close the tool.
