Autumn Getting Petted Delta Having Fun at Home Foster Plays at an Adoption Fair

Requires Quicktime

AUTUMN HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Autumn is one of my foster cats. She showed up on my deck in Ohio one day and we couldn't turn her away. Autumn still hadn't found a home by the time we moved to North Carolina, so she made the trip down south with us. Although Autumn is an absolute sweetheart and true lap cat at home, she gets stressed at adoption fairs with so many other animals -- especially dogs -- around that she doesn't know. This video shows her true nature, though -- sneaking onto the chair to curl up behind me while I was working on the computer and listening to music.

DELTA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Delta is another Hurricane Katrina rescue. She's a happy, sweet, playful girl, as you can see in her video. You can learn more about Delta on the ARFP website.

FOSTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Like Autumn, Foster showed up at an ARFP foster parent's house one day -- not mine this time, though. And like me, she couldn't turn him away. And like Autumn, Foster doesn't enjoy adoption fairs much. He'd much rather be free to roam the house than confined to a cage, even for a few hours. We try to take his mind off it, though, by playing with him until it's time for him to go home again. We happened to get some great footage of him playing with a feather toy before my arm finally gave out after more than an hour!
